It was confirmed that the theme for the 2026 (20th edition) competition will be The Clean Production of Styrene. Guizhou University was approved to host the 2027 National Finals.
As China's premier professional contest for chemical engineering students, the competition attracted over 20,000 participants from 481 universities in 2025. It continues to play a vital role in cultivating students' innovative thinking, engineering skills, and teamwork.
