On March 20, East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Lingang New Area Administrative Committee and Shanghai Fujie Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.
The tripartite agreement focuses on building a national innovation platform, cultivating top talent, and advancing key technologies related to green shipping and carbon-neutral development. The partnership leverages the resources of ECUST's National Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering and Low-Carbon Technology. Academician Chen De was appointed as the chief scientist for the laboratory's Lingang base and for Fujie Environmental Protection.
