A student team from East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) achieved the highest overall score, securing first place at the finals of the 8th National Undergraduate Chemical Engineering Experiment Competition held at South China University of Technology from August 8 to 11, 2025.
The team, named Entropy Reversers, not only won a National Special Prize for the third consecutive year but also set a new benchmark as the top-performing team in the university's history of participating in this prestigious event. The competition, a top-tier national event, attracted nearly 2,400 teams from 366 universities this year.
This outstanding result highlights ECUST's strength in practical chemical engineering education and its commitment to cultivating students' innovation and problem-solving skills.
